Unlike other surgery, orthopaedic surgery deals with the solid structures of the skeleton - essentially human carpentry. However, our March Dinner speakers, Brisbane orthopaedic surgeons, Lawrie Malisano and John Radovanovic, will not be discussing the tools of trade. Rather, from the personal perspective of the elder and the younger surgeon, they will reflect on past practices, how change has evolved and what the future holds in relation to surgical training, hospital practices, patient expectations and professional regulation.
