Jon Douglas has been a Consultant Physician in Internal Medicine for over 40 years. In addition to his private practice, he is Chairman of the Medical Assessment Tribunals at Q-COMP, a position he has held for the past 11 years. He has had a long association with The Wesley Hospital and was Board Chairman for six years. He has also been a teacher of medical students, interns and medical registrars for 44 years and continues to be a teacher of medical students. He has also had a 20 year involvement with The Australasian College of Physicians in a variety of roles.
Dr Douglas also has an amateur’s interest in history with a particular penchant for learning how the character and illness of various historical figures has influenced the course of world history.
